FBISE Class 11th & 12th Result Gazette 2026 | PDF Download

Each Gazette covers the HSSC First Annual Examination 2026 for its respective class. Make sure you download the correct one for your class.

What Is the FBISE Result Gazette?

The Result Gazette is the official, complete result booklet published by FBISE. Since 11th class (HSSC Part 1) and 12th class (HSSC Part 2) results are announced together but cover separate cohorts of students, FBISE issues two separate Gazette PDFs — one for each class. Each Gazette lists every student who appeared in that class’s annual examination along with their:

• Roll number
• Full name and father’s name
• Group/subject combination (Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, ICS, Commerce, Humanities, General Science, etc.)
• Subject-wise marks
• Total marks and grade
• Pass/fail or withheld status
• Compartment (supplementary) status, if applicable

Colleges also use the Gazette for official record-keeping and admission verification, which is why it’s trusted as a backup to the online roll-number search — especially important for HSSC results since they directly feed into university admission merit calculations.

Why Download the Gazette Instead of Checking Online?

• It works offline once downloaded — no repeated page reloads.
• You can search by name, not just roll number, using Ctrl+F on desktop or “Find in Page” on mobile.
• It’s useful for colleges checking multiple students’ results at once.
• It serves as a backup record if the online result portal is temporarily down.
• It’s especially valuable for HSSC results, since students often need their percentage quickly to start tracking university merit lists.
• It’s easier to share with parents or guardians who want to check the same result.

How to Check Your FBISE Result Using the Gazette

1. Choose and download the correct Gazette PDF for your class — 11th (HSSC Part 1) or 12th (HSSC Part 2) — using the buttons above.
2. Open the file on your phone or computer.
3. Use Ctrl+F (or “Find in Page” on mobile) to search by your roll number or full name.
4. Locate your entry to view your subject-wise marks, total score, and result status.

Confirmed Result Date & Timeline

FBISE has officially confirmed that the HSSC Part 1 (11th Class) and HSSC Part 2 (12th Class) results for the First Annual Examination 2026 will be announced on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 11:30 AM, following the HSSC First Annual Examination which began on May 14, 2026.

A Quick Timeline of the Result Process

1. Exams conclude — HSSC First Annual Examination 2026 wrapped up over the summer.
2. Marking and compilation — answer scripts checked and marks compiled.
3. Gazette preparation — the Board compiles the full result data into the official Gazette format.
4. Result announcement — September 9, 2026 at 11:30 AM, via portal, SMS, and Gazette.
5. Post-result services — rechecking applications, duplicate mark sheet requests, and compartment/supplementary exam registrations open shortly after.

What to Do After Checking Your Result

• Save or print your Gazette entry as a temporary record until your official mark sheet is issued.
• Result marked “Withheld”? Usually fee dues or incomplete registration data — contact your college or the FBISE office to resolve it.
• Not satisfied with your marks? Apply for paper rechecking/recounting within the specified window (usually 15 days) after the announcement.
• Planning for university admissions? Start noting your aggregate/percentage as soon as your result is confirmed, since HSSC marks are central to MDCAT, ECAT, and general merit calculations.

Understanding Your Result: Grades, Divisions & Marking

• A1 / A / B / C / D grades reflect your performance band per subject.
• Total marks out of 1100 (or as applicable to your group) determine your overall percentage.
• Division (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) reflects your overall aggregate performance.
• Best of Two policy — for compartment/improvement cases, your highest score between the old and new result is typically retained, which matters for MDCAT/ECAT aggregate building.
• Withheld (W) status means your result is on hold pending administrative verification.
• Absent (Ab) status appears if you missed one or more papers without a valid exemption.

Tips for a Smooth Result-Checking Experience

• Have your roll number and admit card ready before result day.
• Download the Gazette early if it becomes available ahead of the official announcement time.
• Download the correct Gazette for your class — 11th and 12th are two separate PDFs.
• Confirm you’re viewing the right session (First Annual vs. Supplementary).
• Screenshot or save your entry as soon as you find it, since university admission portals often open within days of the result.
• Verify the exact spelling of your name as registered with FBISE.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q1. When will the FBISE 11th & 12th Class Result 2026 be announced?
FBISE has confirmed the HSSC Part 1 and Part 2 results will be announced on September 9, 2026, at 11:30 AM.

Q2. How can I check my FBISE result by name instead of roll number?
Download the Result Gazette PDF and use Ctrl+F (or “Find in Page” on mobile) to search for your full name.

Q3. Is the Result Gazette PDF official?
It’s compiled from official FBISE result data to help students access results more easily during high-traffic periods. For your official mark sheet, always refer to FBISE directly.

Q4. What is the SMS code to check FBISE result?
Send FB (Space) your Roll Number to 5050.

Q4b. Are the 11th and 12th class results in the same Gazette PDF?
No. FBISE publishes two separate Gazette PDFs — one for 11th class (HSSC Part 1) and one for 12th class (HSSC Part 2). Make sure you download the one that matches your class.

Q5. How do I apply for rechecking if I’m unhappy with my marks?
Through the official FBISE portal within the specified window after the result is announced.

Q6. What should I do if my result shows as “Withheld”?
Usually fee dues, incomplete registration data, or a pending verification issue — contact your college or FBISE headquarters directly.

Q7. Can I download the Gazette on my mobile phone?
Yes. Any PDF reader or browser works, and most mobile browsers support “Find in Page.”

Q8. Is there a separate Gazette for Supplementary (Compartment) exams?
Yes, released after those results are compiled, typically a few months after the annual result.

Q9. What’s the difference between the online result and the Gazette PDF?
Online = one student at a time by roll number entry. Gazette = complete list for an entire examination, faster for bulk or name-based searches.

Q10. Can colleges use the Gazette to verify multiple students at once?
Yes — this is one of its primary uses, letting colleges compile pass percentages and cross-verify records efficiently.

Q11. How is my HSSC percentage calculated?
Your percentage is generally calculated out of the total marks for your group (often 1100), combining all compulsory and elective subjects.

Q12. How long does paper rechecking usually take?
Usually a few weeks after the application deadline; check the official notification for this year’s exact timeline.

Q13. Will my official mark sheet look the same as my Gazette entry?
Same core data, but the mark sheet is a separate, individually issued document with the Board’s official seal and signature, required for university admissions.

Q14. Can I use the Gazette PDF for university admission purposes?
Most universities require your original or attested mark sheet, not the Gazette PDF — though the Gazette is useful as an early reference while tracking merit lists.

Q15. What should I do if I appeared in the exam but can’t find my name anywhere?
Double-check you’re viewing the correct Gazette (right class, session, year). If it’s still missing, contact your college or FBISE directly.

Q16. What happens if I fail one or more subjects?
You’ll typically be eligible for the supplementary (compartment) examination, held a few months after the annual result.

Q17. Do I need to pay to download the Result Gazette PDF?
No, it’s completely free.

Q18. Can I get a duplicate mark sheet if I lose the original?
Yes, through FBISE’s official portal or regional office, usually for a nominal fee.

Q19. Does the “Best of Two” rule apply to compartment/improvement results?
Yes — for eligible cases, your highest score between the old and new attempt is generally retained, which is important for MDCAT/ECAT aggregate calculation.

Q20. Where can I find updates if the result date or time changes?
The official FBISE website and verified education news sources. This page will also be updated with any confirmed changes.
